BEIJING -- Following are the agendas for the fifth sessions of the 11th National People's Congress (NPC) and the 11th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) on Saturday.
NPC:
-- At 9 a.m., NPC deputies will hold panel discussions about the report on the NPC Standing Committee's work.
-- At 3 p.m., delegations will hold respective plenary meetings to deliberate the report on the NPC Standing Committee's work.
-- At 3 p.m., discussions of delegations from Tianjin, Hunan, Yunnan, Macao, and Taiwan will be open to journalists in four locations. Details of the locations are available at www.npc.gov.cn/pc/11_5.
-- At 3 p.m., five NPC deputies from cultural sector will give a press conference on promoting cultural development in the grassroots at the press center for the two sessions.
CPPCC:
-- At 9 a.m., members of the 11th CPPCC National Committee will hold panel discussions on the CPPCC's work.
-- At 9 a.m., six members of the CPPCC National Committee from health sector will give a press conference on deepening health care reform at the press center for the two sessions.
-- At 9 a.m., panel discussions will be open to journalists from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and foreign countries in two locations. Details of the activities can be found at www.cppcc.people.com.cn.
-- At 10:45 a.m., four members of the CPPCC National Committee will give a press conference on developing new energy and clean energy at the press center for the two sessions.
-- At 3 p.m., members of the 11th CPPCC National Committee will hold a plenary meeting, at which some members will make speeches.
