Netizens tour around the Coca-Cola Pavilion
Nine winners of an online lucky draw of the Coca-Cola Pavilion toured the pavilion via fast access at 1pm yesterday.
At the VIP room inside the pavilion, Coco-Cola Company officials presented each online winner with a gift pack, including a T-shirt, an eco-friendly hat and two limited edition of Coca-Cola bottles specially made for the Expo Shanghai.
“Better City, Better Life” is the slogan of the Expo, and happiness and fun are the basic elements for a better life, officials said. That’s why the Coca-Cola Company has chosen “Happiness Factory” to be the theme of its pavilion.
“Happiness Factory” also brings environmental ideas of low-carbon into the Expo Site. The company showed the Netizens some high-tech eco-friendly Coca-Cola products through interactive games. They also enjoyed a close-up magic performance and a colour painting show.
Ms. Hu, one of the lucky netizens, brought her son to tour the pavilion on their 11th Expo visit and second trip to the Coca-Cola Pavilion. Her son, seven-year-old Qi Yuyang, liked the Coca-Cola animation characters after his first tour. So Hu got online to catch the chance from the lucky draw for her son.
Netizens Mr. Tian, Mrs. Yan and her husband came to Shanghai from Liaoning Province especially for World Expo. This was their first visit to the Expo.
The online Coca-Cola Pavilion, which has five sections: “Welcome Happiness,” “Discover Happiness,” “Experience Happiness,” “Open Happiness” and “Share Happiness,” replicated the real pavilion with virtual three-dimensional scenes. With artful designs of these sections, the pavilion attempted to promote healthy and enjoyable lifestyle and a sense of environmental protection to its visitors.
