Hong Kong painter Tung Pui-San attended his book signing at Macau's Urban Best Practices Area Pavilion yesterday afternoon.
The book was a collector's edition of stamp booklet themed with characters from novels written by renowned Chinese Kung Fu novelist Louis Cha. The booklets were sold at the scene of the book signing.
During the book signing, Tung used a few strokes to draw figures from the novels on the flyleaf of each booklet bought by readers.
Tung said that he liked the design of Macau's UBPA Pavilion, the Tak Seng On Pawnshop.
Tung had painted pictures for Kung Fu novelist Louis Cha's novels. Cha highly praised Tung painting of the characters he had created. Louis Cha's novels published in Chinese Mainland mainly use Tung's pictures on covers.
Besides, a part of the pavilion is themed with Louis Cha’s Kung Fu novels.
