BEIJING -- Following are the agendas for the fifth sessions of the 11th National People's Congress (NPC) and the 11th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) on Sunday.
NPC:
-- At 9 a.m., NPC deputies will hold panel discussions about the draft amendment to the Criminal Procedure Law, draft decision on deputy election for the 12th NPC, and draft methods for the election of deputies to the 12th NPC from the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions.
-- At 3 p.m., NPC deputies will hold a plenary meeting in the Great Hall of the People. Wang Shengjun, president of the Supreme People's Court (SPC), will deliver a report on the SPC's work. Cao Jianming, procurator-general of the Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP), will deliver a report on the SPP's work.
-- At 7:30 p.m., three NPC deputies, who work in local people's courts, will be available for interview via the Internet on carrying out their duties. CPPCC:
-- At 9 a.m., members of the 11th CPPCC National Committee will hold a plenary meeting, at which some members will make speeches.
-- At 3 p.m., members of the 11th CPPCC National Committee will attend the NPC's plenary meeting in the Great Hall of the People to listen to the reports by Wang Shengjun and Cao Jianming.
