The Russia Pavilion is hosting an exhibition featuring relics of the Arkaim, an archaeological site dated to the 17th century BC.
Exhibits include clay statues, among others, which will be moved to Beijing after the Expo.
Arkaim was a settlement of the Sintashta-Petrovka culture. It was protected by two circular walls. There was a central square, surrounded by two circles of dwellings separated by a street. The settlement covered more than 200 hectares. The site was discovered in 1987.
