STOCKHOLM, April 29 (Xinhua) -- Swedish Trade Minister Ewa Bjorling says the 2010 Shanghai World Expo will be a unique chance for Swedish companies to make additional inroads in China.
Bjorling will attend the opening ceremony of the Shanghai Expo on Saturday, the Swedish government said in a statement Wednesday.
"We can display what we are good at and naturally we can do more business with China," Bjorling said. "We will show our Swedish model in equality, in innovation and we will present many Swedish companies during the six months period."
The theme of the Swedish pavilion in Shanghai is the Spirit of Innovation, which highlights Sweden's innovative strength and creativity.
"We have a lot of good solutions in Sweden. We will also show how Swedish companies pay attention to social responsibilities for example respect workers' rights and take care of environment," Bjorling said.
Exhibitions in the Swedish Pavilion will focus on corporate social responsibilities, environment technology, sustainable city, health and culture.
