CHONGQING, June 30 (Xinhua) -- Chairman of the Taiwan-based Straits Exchange Foundation (SEF) Chiang Pin-kung and his delegation would leave for Taiwan Wednesday afternoon after a three-day mainland visit.
Chiang, Taiwan's top negotiator on cross-Strait affairs, arrived in Chongqing Municipality on Monday for talks with his Chinese mainland counterpart Chen Yunlin, president of the mainland-based Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Straits (ARATS).
Chen and Chiang signed the long-awaited Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement (ECFA) and an agreement on intellectual property rights protection Tuesday after the talks.
