BEIJING, June 19 (Xinhua) -- The 2009 China Hangzhou Electronics and Information Exposition will be held at the Hangzhou Peace International Exhibition and Conference Center in Hangzhou, the capital of east China's Zhejiang Province, from Sept. 10-13.

Hangzhou and the Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association will co-sponsor the exposition, the organizers told reporters in Beijing Friday.

The exposition, with floor space of 20,000 square meters, will have more than 1,000 booths for exhibits from the mainland, Taiwan and foreign countries.

It will be the third such event jointly organized by the city and the Taiwan association, according to Tong Guili, deputy mayor of Hangzhou.
