BEIJING, June 14 -- Taiwan enterprises on Saturday attended the 20th Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair for the first time in Harbin, capital of northeast China's Heilongjiang Province.

The business talks were held among representatives of Heilongjiang, Taiwan and Russia, featuring "Strengthening multi-lateral exchanges and expanding economic and trade cooperation".

Over the past years, trade between Taiwan and Heilongjiang has been blooming.

The cooperation fields covers food processing, building materials, electrical equipment, wood processing and real estates.

It is learned that Harbin receives over 100,000 Taiwan tourists and businessmen every year.

The Harbin trade fair will also witness a batch of cooperation contracts signed by participant companies and institutions, including Heilongjiang Council for Promotion of International Trade and Taipei Chamber of Commerce.Xinhua News Agency correspondents reporting from Harbin.
