For the first time, Taiwan companies joined the Third China (Xiamen) Sports Facility Exhibition, held from March 23 to 26 at the Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Centre, during the 2006 C&D Xiamen International Marathon.

Six Taiwan companies attended the exhibition with their products. At the same time, more than 10 Taiwanese-invested companies in Xiamen took part in the exhibition as well.

The booths for these Taiwan companies reached 60.

Among the companies, 70 are local firms in Xiamen, which covered 260 booths of the total 372.

As one of the auxiliary activities of the Xiamen Marathon, the exhibition attracted 123 companies to display their products, including leisure and sports facilities, fitness building facilities and leisure and sports clothes.

Some colourful activities were held as part of the four-day exhibition, including a fashion show, jazz, calisthenics, street dancing and taekwondo shows.
